The history of DIADEMA dates back to 1985 at that time under the name of JICEC S.A. is founded in the city of QUILMES, PCIA DE BUENOS AIRES, by CARMELO ENRIQUE CACERES.
In its beginnings, the company was dedicated to the engineering, manufacturing, repair and sale of industrial projects.
JICEC quickly became the main engineering and project company in the area, due to its work in the Cervecería y Malteria Quilmes and engineering companies.
Around 1989, the oil industry becomes the main activity and JICEC takes over the representation and distribution of the famous KUBOTA motors for driving individual Mechanical Pumping equipment and begins to play a fundamental role in the development of its businesses.
In that same year the first motors are installed in the Deposit that will give rise to the name of the brand "DIADEMA"; precisely in the DIADEMA area near Comodoro Rivadavia. Already in the 90's, DIADEMA-JICEC had begun to play a leading role in the South American region, assisting KUBOTA in the different countries of South America; becoming the main regional distributor.

DIADEMA TODAY AND IN THE WORLD
From the year 2000 begins the expansion of DIADEMA in the world and of the CACERES GROUP.
Forming a group of companies JICEC in charge of local service in Argentina, and DIADEMA USA based in Houston Texas for distribution in international markets from the oil sector.
The industrial plant is installed in the Industrial Park "UNION IDUSTRIAL QUILMES" Ex-Old Good Battalion with a total area of 1.05 Hectares and a covered area of 5,500 m2.
In its first stage, the company was dedicated to the manufacture of natural gas or diesel oil engines to drive mechanical pumping apparatus (AIB), Progressive Cavity Pumps, Compressors, under the license of KUBOTA of Japan.
In 2002, it begins to export to new markets such as Saudi Arabia, Yemen and the United Arab Emirates.
In 2004, it is put into operation with new machinery, incorporating state-of-the-art technology and computerized numerical control machinery, among others.
From its beginnings to the present, DIADEMA in Argentina was the country's leader in the manufacture of motors for driving mechanical pumping devices, with production to date of more than 8,500 units.
The most widely used extraction system in the world to extract crude oil is mechanical pumping. In our country, 75% of the wells produce with this system and DIADEMA in Argentina has a market share of 70% compared to other brands.
